This weekend, we will have the opportunity to visit Dallas! Very excited about getting to travel there because we have a lot of friends in that area...AND we are seeing Journey! This will be my first time to see them live, so I'm thrilled that I get to experience this with my wife! A couple weeks ago, we were on a plane, headed for Las Vegas. I decided to sit near the middle of the plane, instead of the back. Little did we know that we were sitting to Rip Rokken, one of the nicest and most down to earth guys we have ever met. Before we knew that he was close to AP or Journey, we chatted for a while and made small talk. I appreciate and enjoy many different types of music and my wife can't live without music. She literally has to have some music going whether she's in the car, at work or just sitting at home on the computer. So when we heard that Journey was going to be in Texas, we just couldn't pass up the opportunity! We are so fortunate to have met AP on his birthday, along with many of his friends and family :)
Life is proving to be more random and rewarding than I had ever thought. Just as Arnel has struggled to get where he is today, we have all been down some hard roads. It's so inspiring and motivating to meet people like Rip, AP and friends. No matter what journey you are on, there are always genuinely nice people out there, you just have to keep your eyes, ears and heart open to meeting them!
If anyone else is going to the show in Dallas, we hope to see you there and I know it will be a great show!
